FYI: this PR was originally merged into main by mistake. I've moved the 1.8.0 content onto a dedicated 1.8.0 branch and reset main back to the prior 1.7.1 release. The 1.8.0 model files are available at refs/heads/1.8.0. Thanks @huisu !
